We’re excited about The Atlin project and its acquisition. It represents an underexplored area but it is a previous mine with production. So the old timers didn’t explore. Their mining methods we’re just mining. So we expect to go into this area. and quickly start up mining again as well as significantly increase the minable resource and reserve that exists there.

The strategic move, which materialized today, follows a meticulously planned acquisition process initiated with a binding agreement inked on August 30 of the preceding year. Brookmount, whose shares are actively traded on the OTC Markets, envisions commencing operations at the acquired facility in the upcoming third quarter of this calendar year, showcasing the company’s commitment to efficient and timely project execution.
Termed the “Atlin Project” internally, the newly acquired site spans an expansive 100 hectares and boasts a historical legacy as a “hard rock” mine, renowned for its consistent production of valuable minerals. Geared towards sustainable growth, Brookmount recognizes the ample room for expansion within the Atlin Project, laying the foundation for a thriving mining venture.
Exploration reports from the Company’s geologists illuminate the promising prospects of Atlin, highlighting the existence of various vein structures on the property, with noteworthy samples indicating assays as high as an impressive 1oz (35 grams) per tonne. Unveiling the richness of the mine levels, Brookmount identifies a substantial block of probable ore, estimating around 76,000 tonnes with an average grade of 0.17oz (6 grams) of gold per tonne. Although presently non NI 43-101 compliant, Brookmount is committed to undertaking diligent drilling and associated activities to bring this resource to a fully compliant status.
